Originally from Des Moines, IA, Alyssa Wilson is now living in Ames and studying at Iowa State University. She is a junior majoring in Elementary Education with a minor in Educational Computing and an English endorsement. This is her first year working at the CTLT and she enjoys it very much. She is learning how to work with all of the old and new technology and helping any students with their questions. She thinks that working here is a great opportunity to advance her skills in technology and to learn more about how that technology can be used effectively in her future classroom.
In the future, Alyssa hopes to be teaching at the kindergarten level for a few years in Iowa, then possibly moving, to continue teaching, somewhere in the southern U.S. She enjoys cheering on the ISU cyclones, spending time with family & friends, traveling, and watching baseball. |
