Dave is a graduate student in Curriculum and Instructional Technology and is working towards his Masters of Science degree. He is currently a teaching assistant for CI 202, which helps prepare future teachers for the integration of technology into their teaching practice.

Dave graduated from Iowa State University in the fall of 2005 with a B.A. degree in Mathematics and an endorsement in secondary education. He has spent the last two years as a high school math teacher at Colo-Nesco High School in Colo, IA. While there, Dave was also the head boy's varsity basketball coach for two seasons. He has been apart of the E2T2 (Enhancing Education Through Technology) Mathematics Initiative of No Child Left Behind. This initiative is to support standards-based mathematics instruction in grades 6-12 through effective instructional strategies, administrative support, best practices in technology, and extensive professional development opportunities to increase student achievement. Dave was also the recipient of the advanced tuition grant from the ICTM (Iowa Council Teacher of Mathematics) in the spring of 2007 to help in his graduate studies at Iowa State University. |
