FEDERAL REQUIREMENTS
1. Iowa State University is required by law to make available to enrolled students, prospective students, and their parents certain information about its operations. Such information pertains to: (1) general institutional operation, (2) financial assistance, (3) general completion and graduation rates, (4) annual security report, (5) completion and graduation rates for student athletes, and (6) athletic program participation rates and financial support.

2. In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, Disability Resources (DR), provides support and guidance to qualified ISU students, faculty, and staff as it relates to providing reasonable accommodations and access for those with learning, physical, and/or psychological disabilities. 3. The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) affords students certain rights with respect to their education records. The ISU FERPA annual notification to students is available on the web at http://www.iastate.edu/~registrar/info/ferpanotice.html.

ISU ALERT
1. The ISU Alert system (see http://www.isualert.iastate.edu/) will quickly alert Iowa State University students, faculty and staff of potentially dangerous situations on the Iowa State University campus. 1. Security is important: make sure your AccessPlus password is unique to strengthen security for your data. If you forget your password, help is available. See details at https://accessplus.iastate.edu/frontdoor/forgotPassword0.jsp.
2. Third Party Access allows you to grant access to selected personal information to a trusted Third Party. For example, Third Party Access allows you to set up a special account for your parent or family member to view your grades and/or pay your university bill. For more information on creating third party accounts, please read the information at https://accessplus.iastate.edu/frontdoor/tpa-info.jsp.
3. Note to Graduating Students: Access Plus is available to you AFTER graduation! Use it to order your transcript from any computer. Call 294-1840 if you need your Access Plus password reset. Your e-mail account will be active for a limited time after you graduate. More information is available at http://www.it.iastate.edu/faq/view.php?id=498.
4. If you need enrollment status certification for health insurance or other purposes, you may print a free official Enrollment Verification Certificate by selecting "Enrollment Cert" on the AccessPlus student tab.
5. You can order a copy of your official ISU transcript by selecting the "Grade & Transcript" and then "Order transcript."
