The ISU School of Education and CTLT have been working in collaboration with local area schools for several years to provide paid technology internships to undergraduate preservice teachers who are interested in learning more about technology in education.
Roland Story Community School District
Tech interns at Roland Story CSD help support the elementary and middle schools with their 1:1 iPad programs. The Roland Story Middle School is 1:1 and elementary school is sharing iPad carts at the elementary grade levels.
Gilbert Community School District
Tech interns at Gilbert CSD help support their 1:1 programs and technology efforts in all four schools (K-12).
Colo-NESCO Community School District
Tech interns at Colo-NESCO CSD help support their 1:1 programs and technology efforts.
Hours are flexible, but most interns work 4-8 hours per week. If you are interested, please contact Denise Schmidt-Crawford at firstname.lastname@example.org. You’ll be asked to submit a resume and then sign up for a 20 minute interview with staff from the school.
